We cold brew our coffee for at least 16 hours with the Toddy System which extracts the bitter acids and oils that other brewing methods leave behind. This promotes a smooth, clean flavor ideal for iced coffee and a low acid concentrate that is mild on the stomach.
The cold-brew method allows a different flavor profile to appear. Without as much bitterness, the fruity, chocolate, vanilla or other undertones are allowed to shine. So, even if you like a good cup of drip coffee, cold brewed coffee can give you a wonderful variation.
A roasted coffee bean contains many compounds that are extracted during the brewing process. Some of those compounds, including certain oils and fatty acids, are soluble only at a high temperature. During the cold brew process, coffee beans are never exposed to high temperature
With cream, milk, or a little vanilla, this is such a delightful and refreshing coffee. We particularly like to use Eiland Coffee Roasters’ Kenya, Papua New Guinea, Ethiopian, or Burundi Single Origin coffees for Cold Brew.
Due to the process of producing the Cold Brew Coffee, we need at least two week’s notice to be prepared for your event.
As a colorful partner to our Cold Brew Bar, our Italian Cream Sodas are light, sweet, and cool non-coffee drinks. With 5-6 flavors that you choose to include on the menu, every cup is a personally mixed lightly carbonated punch. With or without cream, these specialty drinks are quick to fix and there’s something for everyone. Guests are welcome to request a combination of any of the flavors we have.
